Christmas time

So this year of 2010, I was able to spend this christmas with my beautiful Samantha. I was so happy to be able to pick her up on December 4th, 2010 at that Nurnberg, Germany airport. I thought it was kind of weird when i first arrived to germany in frankfurt for how the airport was set up and everything where as back in the USA, they have to where people can greet you at baggage claim. but here in germany they have doors blocking the way of the baggage claim where you can't get to the baggage claim to help whoever you are there to pick up to help them with their luggage. Well it was a great site to see my wife walking out of the baggage claim area of that airport to see her beautiful face.

When she walked out of baggage claim and saw her beautiful face, even for her being as tired as she was from the flight, I walked up to her and wrapped my arms around her and gave her a big kiss, a kiss on the lips that i have missed for a long time. We got her home to post and we took a nap so that she could rest from the long flight. I really missed having her arms around me while we were apart, but I'm glad to finally have her back in them when i come home from work and also be able to spend time with her.

This Christmas was a memorable one because it was the first christmas that me and my wife were able to spend together because all the other holidays that came along were while we were apart from each other. It was really sad to not be able to spend Thanksgiving together as well as a fun holiday like Halloween but we were able to spend Christmas and now our first New Years together. Soon after this holiday time is over and everyone is back from Block leave things with work will be getting really busy plus for also to get us ready for the upcoming deployment to Afghanistan. In Prep for that we will be doing a lot of training and as well as getting our new gear and uniforms to help us get ready for the upcoming area we will be getting deployed to. I was hoping that i would be able to change jobs before this units deployment but from what it looks like is that I wont be able to. So I figure why not just go on this deployment, receive the pay benefits as well as earn up some good money and also to get my life and other things in order so that me and my wife will be able to enjoy ourselves and also be able to buy a car while on R&R during deployment which will be a nice thing for when me and her get back to the states.

Update of me and Samantha and other things

So things are going pretty decent between myself and my Samantha. Things are a lil hard still for now due to the fact that it has now been 4 months since we have parted from each other. But as we continue to call and talk and skype with each other, it eases some of the pains and stress away from the fact of being apart for so long. I love my wife so much that it is still so hard to be away from her. an update of our paperwork is that it has finally gone to the last stage of processing. now just waiting for the final say so that i can get her to me and a beautiful country. not saying that the US isn't beautiful. just saying that Germany is beautiful for the fact that it is a country that is newly seen by mine eyes and that i can't wait to share these things more with her. This land has a lot of history that im waiting to discover with my wife. And part of the other things that are titled about is the update of my hernia. I am to go to the doctor in a town called Eschenbach tomorrow 5 Oct 2010. i can't wait to see what and when the decision will be to have my hernia surgery. plus soon i will also be setting up my appointment to have eye surgery performed.

My LIfe And my wife

Today i have been talking to my beautiful wife since i have woken up this morning and have been enjoying every minute of it. I have started my life with my wife on July 3 when we were married. To this day since we were married just over 3 months ago, i left two days after our wedding, I have totally missed seeing her beautiful smile in person. I am working to get her over here to Germany to be with me. So far i have been trying to get her over here so much. but so far with slow progress and hardly any success but still in the process of trying to fix that. It is a slow process because of the Army being the way it is. But i have promised my wife that she will get here. i plan to keep that promise. Baby I totally miss being with you and having you in my arms. soon i will be able to have that again for the two of us. I love you with all my heart and soul and nothing will ever change that. (Colin)
